Dancers of the Light

Who is it dares to say that there is not magic everywhere?Dancers of the Light

They're seen always in the morning
when the day is young,
and sunbeams reach inside.
They dance a slow ballet,
but when you walk among them
they will rock and roll.

They're mostly dressed in white
or silver, sometimes in muted colors
that sparkle in the light.
No matter what you do to them
they will not go away,
until the sun moves higher,
then they'll quickly disappear.

Be not sad for their swift parting
for they are with you still,
resting on your coffee table,
counter tops, and window sills.

Who are these delightful dancers?
They are dust motes
and, except in early morning sunbeams,
a bane to our existence.

Vi, this piece really made me swoon. Ethereal and lovely.
