Wooing my Muse - Image

This was an image I created to go along with the prose I posted here at Riversleigh called Wooing My Muse. I couldn't upload it at the time but I suspect that had something to do with the browser I was using. I hope this works!

Oh Muse
Why do I no longer feel your warmth?
Your love
Your arms wrapped around my creativity?

My art needs you to release it
My poetry will die a terrible death without you

You are my lifeblood
The one that makes me sing

You pull the words out of me
And leave me free

How can I serenade you?
Woo you to me again?

Do you just need to hear the words?
And feel the opening of my heart?

Take these words as your own then
For once they leave
They are no longer mine:
Muse, will you be my Valentine?

It worked Stacey and I took the liberty of inserting the text. The wonderful thing about Blogger is that you can edit like this. Looks fabulous.

Hi Heather,

Thank you! I didn't realise that you can do editing like that.

Have a look at the edit option Stacey. If you click edit posts your posts will have a box that will enable you to edit and delete if you want to. I have access to all posts and so I can do nifty things like this quite easily.

We all experience a kind of loneliness, Staterka, when our Muse deserts us, takes a holiday, or whatever she does when she's not there for us. You describe the feeling well.
