Is it pantomime
And magic shows
And stuff for free?

Is it tinsel and turkey
And Christmas cards?
Is it stockings and presents
And Santa Claus?
What is the meaning of Christmas
To you and yours?

Christmas means something to everyone;
Christmas means sadness to some.
Christmas is happiness
And loneliness,
It is memories
And it’s the years to come.

Love is the meaning of Christmas,
Love is a friendly heart,
And children’s smiles,
Like candlelight.
Love is the reason
We are here tonight,
Love is all around
And can still be found
At Christmas time.
